Got our creations back from the glass workshop we went to 2 weekends ago! A fat lipped fishy by Mr D and a cute 'blur' octopus by me!

Chinatown

One of the perks of being at Chinatown is that we get to feel the Chinese New Year atmosphere before everyone else. The road stalls are up already... There are flowers, waxed meats, candies, nuts, new year goodies and a whole lot more to buy and see here. And the crowds are starting to come in too.
So yes, its starting to feel a lot like Chinese New Year!

Have you seen this vegetable??

Saw this while doing grocery shopping yesterday.
Its says on the label "Green Cauliflower"... ooh!
First time I've seen this before and duno why but it looks kinda alien to me.
That bright green.. and those patterns.... I don't know about you, but I don't think I'll be seeing these on my plate anytime soon.

Cozy cat

Here's Pretty, the block cat, sitting cozy on the foam seat we gave her. Its fits her just right!
Probably keeps her nice and warm during the cool windy nights we've been having lately.

Baby Shoes!!

My first attempt at making baby shoes! Oooh... these are just so cute! HEhehe....
They are for Fiona's little girl, Clara.
Oh, I sure do hope they will fit... :)

Pinky Christmas

Had a pink christmas this year!
I got a bunch of present that were all in different shades of pink!
Hehehhee..... Here they are! My pretty loot! ;)

a pink sports bag from Sharon and a purse from Evelyn!

Its 2007! Woo... 2006 was a really significant year for me...

Rain rain go away

Normally you can see the walkway here.... now its all under water. That's how much rain there is!

Its been raining all night and all morning... in fact, all day!
On my way out this morning, I noticed that the area around my block was flooding already.
I like the cool weather, but I don't think I can say the same about the damp surroundings and slightly gloomy mood it brings.

Painting

This is a painting I did in 2002 for Action for AIDS painting competition.
Its just been printed out on the cover of their magazine for this issue! :)

Tree time!

Christmas is round the corner...
time to get the tree out of the box for its yearly set up. :P
Its fun to set up the tree.... but not as fun to take it down though.. heheh...
here it is.... can't wait till the presents below start appearing! ;)
