Goodbye Squeaky
Squeaky Aug 2002-23rd Sept 2007
Squeaky left for the Rainbow Bridge yesterday... *sob sob*
At 5+ years old, its been a pretty long piggy life for him.
Squeaky was a birthday gift to me from my classmates in Sept 2002.
I remembered him climbing over the partition we set up and giving Mr putt-putt a bad scare.
We'll miss the loud squeaks during meal times.
Bye bye Squeaky. :_(

Welcome the Black Jack!
On Saturday, we went by i21 and got an offer we found we couldn't refuse. Hehehe
Initially, we had planned to wait till end Oct for Mac's Jaguar to be launched before we got a replacement for Sugar Cube, my poor little ibook that kaput-ted on me a few months back. *sob*
But, the service we got from i21 was real good and somehow, we soon found ourselves heading to the counter to pay for my brand new black Mac book. I felt like a proud new owner! hehehhe....
So, here's introducing (drum roll*) Black Jack!(Nicely named by Mama!) :P

Mid Autumn Birthday
Chinatown's gearing up for the mid autumn festivities
Its my birthday today! Woke up feeling a bit older.. hmm.. was it my imagination or did my back feel a lil achy this morning?? hahahha..... :P
Every year, along with my birthday, comes the Mid Autumn Festival(MAF)aka moon cake feasting time. This is reinforced in my previous post too!
I enjoy the one (ok,or two slivers) of moon cake and trying out all the strange concoctions they invent these days. Some are yummy and interesting, some others I think should just be admired from afar, in their pretty boxes. Hehehe...
On my way to office this morning, was thinking about it being my 2nd year in chinatown during MAF and also the 2nd time I get to have the office birthday celebration here. (Sigh, I also think it will be my last one here, as we'd most probably be vacating our office in the year end :()
Hmm... think its time to get the cam out and get around for some nice pics and memories.
More on my birthday in my next post, after I get more presents tonight! Oh boy, yipee! :P I love presents!

Mini Donuts
Yesterday we went to Central and decided to try
Marcial Kobe's mini donuts.
They're smaller than normal donuts, little bite sized bits.
But still nicely decorated. :) How cute!
They're sold at $4 for 12 pieces. And the stall also sells mini yaki-fish too.
For both, I think they taste best eaten fresh, when still warm.
Left too long, they become a bit soggy.
My bag of 12 little assorted donuts.
Trays of mini donuts waiting to be bought and chomped up.
The mini yaki-fish pastries in assorted flavours.
