Pleased with my pair of gold-ish jelly shoes I bought sometime back during lunchtime while walking around Chinatown. Its just great for those rainy days. :P
In fact I liked them so much I could not resist getting another pair in a different color. Hehehe...

Illustration Friday- neighbor

Here's one for this week's topic.
Bunch of cute cats living in a tree.

I'm cute.. take me home!

Went to the pet shop(more like aquarium actually) during lunch and saw a cage full of little bunnies up for sale there. There was one little fella that was exceptionally friendly. It kept comeing to the cage bars to get head rubbies. Aww... how cute. I imagine if I brought it home and housed it with our "not so Small Bunny" at home, this little fella would be squashed if it got sat on. Hehehe...
A days later when I went by the shop again, the cute fella was not there anymore. :S I hope it got bought and taken back to a nice home.

Limitations

Reading an article in the New Paper yesterday reminded me that we all have limitations, both physically and mentally. And when your body starts giving you signs and signals that you're reaching or have passed your limits, you'd better heed those warnings.

I sometimes think its pretty sad that we're all working so hard to have a better quality of life, but in that process we are actually doing very much the oposite. We slog and work hard, putting in extra hours to earn those extra dollars. Sometimes I really wonder if its worth it. But in a society where everyone seems eager to climb up ladders and achieve wonders, I think its pretty hard to drill in the idea that we all have limitations.

Even with that article of the poor girl, May, who lost her life to work, I am not surprised that the warning will fall on deaf ears. Or maybe people just choose to adopt the "It won't happen to me" attitude and forget about it, the thought drowned out by the rush of work. I think its just sad.

After reading her blog, and thinking about her story I realise that life is actually very fragile. Here today, gone tomorrow and all those things you'd wanted to do, left undone.

Its like getting lost in our busy work routine. The routine which is pretty much the same everyday: stress, deadlines, stress, rush.. never ending work to do. Hmm... pretty much like a dog chasing its own tail; getting worked up, going round and round but getting nowhere much.

Sigh, even though I dun even know her, my deepest condolences go out to her family.
Really hope not to read another article on a smiliar case again. Coz life is just too precious to end like this.

Dead pod

I thought my ipod was dead and gone for good today.
No signs of life whatsoever coming from it.
I knew the battery was still half-full yesterday but it just wouldn't turn on or connect to my com.
It didn’t even respond to holding PLAY and MENU down for 10 seconds!
(which was the final measure I took)

Just when I thought this was it, RIP iPod, I decided to go online and check if anyone else had the same problem as me and...voila! I was not alone!
Not only that, me ipod... it's alive again!!!!
The cure: hold MENU and SELECT button for 10 secs.
Thanks so much to this entry in Neil's World about his dead iPod,
mine is alive again! =)

Oh, its times like these that make me wonder what we'll all do without the internet.

Crochet class

I'm rather enjoying the weekly crochet class we are having in the office.
Although, sometimes the stitches confuse me a bit.. hurhur, but still,
I like seeing what I somehow manage to do.

Here's my creation, a nice new home for my handphone! =)

Many thanks to our very patient instructor/teacher too! Heehee...

Cherry Blossom season

Its cherry blossom season, even in Tag Friends too!
Hahahha... look at the zombies!

They are sporting cute cherry blossom hats with branches!
And if you look real close enough, you'll see the cute and happy flowers smiling away. Hehehhe... how cute! =D
